The upcoming documentary film (taken from the 5-part series produced for Channel 2 Reshet Israel) follows the cadets who train to become officers in the Israeli Army. The series follows the trails and tribulations of young cadets as they train to become officers in one of the best and most sophisticated militaries in the world. The film, which is unprecedented in its access, was shot in HD, making it the first series to be produced in this format in Israel and focuses on ten IDF soldiers from very different backgrounds, ethnicities and regions of Israel who chose to extend their army service and become officers in the Israeli Army. As they went through 'Bahad 1' , or what is known as Israel's West Point, our cameras followed their journey from boys to men, soldiers to officers and coursemates to great friends. We got to know the boys, their motivations, fears and personal histories as they allowed our cameras into their homes and into their hearts. After several attempts to make her happy, Joey soon finds that the real problem is that Gina desperately wants to have a baby...seems easy enough...they're married and in love and what Italian family doesn't want a new baby in the house? So Joey & Gina decide to have a baby, should be wonderful right? Wrong. You see, the fashion & body conscious Gina can't bear with the though of gaining all that weight. So, they decide to hire a surrogate mother to carry Gina's baby. After an exhausting search they find the perfect girl but she soon finds that dealing with Joey & Gina, as well as their overbearing Italian family is much more than she bargained for and giving birth will probably be the easiest part of this bizarre situation. |
